This original lamp is made from a non-serviceable continental aircraft cylinder. This steel and aluminum cylinder has been powder coated in a matte brass and fitted with a mahogany wooden base. The lamp shade is included.

The continental aircraft cylinder is the portion of the engine where the power is developed. The cylinder provides a combustion chamber where the burning of the gas occurs.
